Mason Reddington
Mason Reddington is a financial advisor who helps real estate investors navigate the complex and volatile real estate market. After focusing on the brand strategy earlier this year, we then used the direction established by the strategy to inform his refreshed visual identity. Mr. Reddington usually works with high net-worth clients and wanted his identity to also reflect his prestige.
Mr. Reddington was recommended by another financial advisor I met earlier this year. He wanted clients to be attracted to him and see him as an authority figure in the industry of financial advisory, “A beacon, guiding high net-worth individuals with confidence, precision and commitment to their success”.
Design Approach
The design of the letterforms were inspired by the Old Style Typeface ‘Bembo’. I chose this as inspiration due to its hand drawn calligraphic nature that one would typically see in old books and text. This style was used to achieve the sense of authority and trust for the brand and inspired the design of the letterforms.


The brand color palette was used to evoke maturity and elegance, especially when paired with the wordmark. Initially, the color palette consisted of more ‘greens’ but was later abandoned due to it steering the brand in a direction not intended. The typefaces chosen for the headings and reading text were also chosen for this reason.
